New Blog...

To ALL my friends and fellow followers....

I have started a new blog for my crochet interest.
I would love to have you follow me there also
but if it's not your cup of tea...I understand.

I will continue this blog since we do plan to
RV/Camp in the future and I will need a place
to share my fun & pics.  Although this blog
will be slow going for a while, I do hope
you stick around.  Thanks for the support!!!

Snowflake Monday

I still have to tuck the tails
and block it but my first

SNOWFLAKE

is done!!!

I'm still one week behind since there's
5 Mondays in the month of January
but I'll get caught up this week.

Once I'm ready to block I'll do a
write up on that too!

Happy Hooking!

Snowflakes!

Gosh will I ever quit adding more to my plate?

I've decided that I need something small
in between larger projects like my afghans...

So I've decided to make snowflakes that will
hopefully smother my tree for 2011.

Haven't decided if I'll do one every Monday
or just do them as I feel the desire.

This pic is the cover of a book for sale
on the net but there's lots of

"FREE"

patterns available also!

Now if I can just keep the
holiday spirit all year long!

Happy Hooking!

Seed Stitch Scarf

The scarf on the right is the Seed Stitch.

I really like the way it turned out.  NO holes!

This one will also be going to

for Arizona State!

I've also added labels (tags) to my crochet
posts so they're easier to look up.  After I
got a few things going I thought some
organization should be in order.

To find the labels look on the right side
of my blog just below Archives.

I've separated them into groups:
Special Olympics Scarf
Afghans (Gift) these are personal ones
Project Linus ~ These I give away to Charity
Flannelghan ~ this is based on style or pattern

Thanks for looking!

Special Olympics Scarf

First scarf done!

This one will go to Arizona along with
a second one.  Then 2 for Washington.

It was fun sitting around crocheting
all afternoon working on this project.

I'm really excited for the kids who
will be receiving these gifts this year.

Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year!!!

Whew where did December go?

Between the holidays and moving
(yes on Christmas Day) it's
hard to believe the new year is upon us.

I hope everyone had a safe and
wonderful Holiday Season!

I'm happy to be mostly unpacked
and back to crocheting.

On the hook for Project Linus
another ripple from

Cheers!  I've got some crocheting to do!
